How to play EvoWorld.io

Eat creatures with a green border. Avoid creatures with a red border. Drink water. Use your skill. Evolve. That is the official help text, and it is enough to start a guest match.

Research notes

Research notes: the saved lobby capture documents guest access and the short help panel. The official page supplies border-color advice; the community Fly article supplies the first food values. No completed beginner route, death, or revival was tested during this review.

First session

You spawn as Fly. Fly needs 30 XP to become Butterfly. The wiki lists Dung and Dead Fish at 30 XP each, so one of those finishes the first evolve.

  1. Open evoworld.io and press Play. A guest name is enough.
  2. Move with arrows or the mouse. Stay near food that shows a green border.
  3. Consume dung or dead fish as Fly; 30 base XP finishes the first interval.
  4. Monitor water and oxygen. Drink at a water source and avoid oxygen depletion.
  5. Right click or press space for an active skill. Passive skills need no button.
  6. Evolve when the bar fills, then recheck food and threats. Account XP is separate from the stage bar.

What happens if you die

Account XP and the in-session evolution bar are separate. Community descriptions of ordinary death and paid revival should not be treated as the same action. The Revival article describes preserving session XP using tokens or gems, with one token covering 1,000 XP and a partial thousand requiring another token. Read the death-screen cost and retained-XP amount before confirming; a universal half-XP respawn was not tested.

Questions

Can I play without an account?

The saved lobby capture documents guest play. The shop requires an account for gem purchases; code login requirements were not independently tested.

What do the border colours mean?

Official text: green is edible, red is a threat. NamuWiki adds orange for animals that can fight each other.
